FBI Searches Farms Tied to Gambino Crime Family For Bodies

During the last few weeks, the FBI and local authorities have drummed up a possible connection between the Gambino, otherwise known as a mafia family, and two Upstate horse farms that reside 65 miles away from Manhattan.

One of the horse farms is located on Hampton Road in Goshen and the second one is located on Hamptonburgh Road in Campbell Hall. Apparently, these two horse farms are only five miles apart from each other and they could potentially have had body parts buried there.

The FBI declined to comment on who potentially could have been buried under those farms.

Allegedly, the FBI authorities used backhoes and shovels to try and find the evidence that they were looking for. In addition to bodies, there was also talk of Contraband being there. Contraband is goods that have been imported or exported illegally without payment of duty.

After one day of searching, the authorities found nothing; however, they went back the next day to keep digging.

These two farms were once owned by Giovanni DiLorenzo who allegedly has ties to the Gambino family. The Campbell Hall Farm is owned by Viviane DiLorenzo. The Goshen farm is now owned by GDLI LLC.

There were sixteen indictments handed out and a few of these charges consisted of racketeering, fraud, and embezzlement. These indictments consist of people serving between 20 to 80 years in jail.

Sal DiLorenzo is one of the 10 Gambino ties arrested on these current indictments. These charges were union-related where these people would set up one another with no-show jobs that bought perks with union pay.

These indictments were to stop the takeover of a garbage and demolition company where these mafia families could hide their deeds.

Don't forget, the Gambino family is known as one of the five families that controlled the Mafias's organized crime around New York City. Hopefully, the second day of digging at these horse farms ended with what the FBI had hoped to have found, which was the evidence they were looking for.
